9:30AM – 12:00PM ~ Shabbat Services
Shabbat is the most special day of the week, which is abundantly evident at Congregation Or Ami. The Shabbat experience is the central time where members gather for prayer, learning, and to deepen their relationships with one another. Or Ami celebrates Shabbat in a manner that respects diversity of practice, while encouraging congregants to grow in their observance and in their appreciation of the significance of traditional Shabbat customs. The myriad of Shabbat experiences at Or Ami encourage much spirited and enthusiastic participation.
The warm and supportive setting in which Or Ami celebrates Shabbat has made it a highlight of people’s weekly lives, providing purpose and meaning as it has done for countless generations of Jews. We invite you to experience Congregation Or Ami’s Shabbat in our sanctuary or on Zoom. For more information about our Shabbat activities, please call the synagogue office at 713-334-4300.
